Score at the Shore Winter Girl's Soccer Tournament, Black Watch Soccer Club President's Day Tournament, Florida AAU President's Day Super Regional Basketball Tournament, and the School District of Hillsborough County Football Recruiting Fair will deliver approximately 200 teams from around the country and approximately 50 NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA football coaches to the area for the holiday weekend.
The Score at the Shore Winter Girl's Soccer Tournament starts on February 18 at the Ed Radice Sports Complex. The soccer tournament will feature approximately 80 girls teams competing in 12-Under to 18-Under age groups. Another soccer event occurring over the weekend will be the Black Watch 2nd Annual President's Day Tournament

The School District of Hillsborough County Athletics Department will hold its annual Football Recruiting Fair on February 18 - February 19 at East Bay High School. This event, now in its seventh year, allows high school coaches from Hillsborough County to meet with football coaches from NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA schools. The purpose of the Recruiting Fair is to generate scholarships for local seniors and give them the opportunity to continue their education and play football at the collegiate level.
"We are very excited about the number of events that are coming to Tampa over this holiday weekend," said Tampa Bay Sports Commission Executive Director Rob Higgins. "Each one of these events has a significant impact on our community and we look forward to seeing them grow in the Tampa Bay area for many years to come." The Tampa Bay Sports Commission would like to thank the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation, and Conservation department for their partnership and support.
Florida Youth Soccer Association and Tampa Bay Form Partnership
The Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) will begin a series of six soccer events in the Tampa Bay area. Starting on February 25, FYSA Region C will hold all rounds of their Region Cup as well as their America's Cup at the Ed Radice Sports Complex and the University of South Florida Recreation Fields. The FYSA estimates that between those four events approximately 350 teams will visit the Tampa Bay area in the next two months. Also, in partnership with FYSA and Hillsborough County United Soccer Club, the Tampa Bay area has also secured the 17-Under Boys State Cup Challenge Rounds, which will feature 48 teams, and the 18- Under and 19-Under Boys State Cup Challenge and Semifinal Rounds, which will feature 32 teams. These two events will be played at the Ed Radice Sports Complex.
Recently, in another joint venture with FYSA and Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation, and Conservation department, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission secured the United States Youth Soccer Region III President's Cup for 2007.
