The Tampa Bay Sports Commission, Sun Sports & FSN Florida are happy host the 2008 Florida Sports Writers Association College Football Media Days on July 17-18, 2008 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside. This two-day format will once again provide FSWA members the opportunity to talk with the state's 12 coaches as the college football season approaches.
The Tampa Marriott Waterside features spacious king leisure non-smoking rooms and a rate of $119.00 per night plus applicable taxes for all FSWA attendees.The deadline to reserve a room in the media block, which is named FSWA, for this event is July 3, 2008.
The press conference sessions will be conducted in the Florida Ballroom's Salons I, II, III, IV on the second floor.

ACCOMMODATIONS: MARRIOTT WATERSIDE SOLD OUT
As of Thursday, July 3rd the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina has sold out. We have set up an overflow block of rooms at the newly refurbished Howard Johnson Plaza in Downtown Tampa. The Howard Johnson Plaza offers complimentary on-site parking and a free shuttle to the Marriott Waterside, which is just a couple minutes away. Each attendee is responsible for securing his/her own reservation by calling 813-223-1351.
Please make sure that you ask for the Florida Sports Writers Association rate to receive a discounted room rate.
