TAMPA, FL – The University of South Florida women’s basketball team earned its 10th postseason berth in the last 11 years, as the Bulls were selected Monday night to compete in the Women’s National Invitational Tournament.
After just missing its second NCAA Tournament bid in the last two seasons, USF was awarded a first-round home game against North Carolina A&T Friday at 7 p.m. The Bulls reached the third round of the WNIT in 2011-12, and won the University of South Florida’s second-ever Division I Postseason Championship when USF defeated Kansas in the WNIT Finals during the 2008-09 postseason.
Tickets for the first round will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $11 for adults, and $7 for kids. USF students receive free admission with a valid student ID.
Season ticket members will have the opportunity to purchase their current seat location for all postseason games.
