TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Bay Sports Commission, the University of South Florida and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), are proud to present the 2015 NCAA® Women’s Final Four® Girls and Boys Kids Clinic.
Scheduled for Sunday, February 16, at 1:30 p.m. at the Pam and Les Muma Basketball Center (connected to the USF Sun Dome), non-prospect age kids (consisting of girls eighth grade and below as well as boys sixth grade and below) are invited to participate in this free clinic.
The clinic is open to the first 150 registrants and features a 45-minute teaching session that will be directed by notable high school coaches from the Tampa Bay area.
Each participant will receive one USF vs. UConn game ticket and will serve as an honorary member of USF’s pregame, on-court Tunnel Team. Postgame, participants will have the unique opportunity to meet players and collect autographs from the USF women’s basketball team.
Halftime of Sunday’s game will feature the unveiling of the 2015 NCAA Women’s Final Four logo. The 2015 Women’s Final Four returns to the Tampa Bay Times Forum on April 5 and 7 and is projected to generate approximately $20 million in direct spending, as well as over 10,000 hotel room nights.
