TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC) and Elder Automotive are proud to announce the expansion of the Replay Tampa Bay program by officially joining forces with the Tampa Bay Rays. The trio of organizations will solidify their partnership when they team-up for the program’s third bicycle distribution of 2015 when the Rays host the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday, September 20 at Tropicana Field.
Replay Tampa Bay is an annual donation drive that collects new and gently used sporting goods in an effort to help keep local kids “in the game”. A special presentation will take place prior to the game’s first pitch (1:10 p.m.), highlighted by a donation of 50 bicycles to the Sanderlin Family Center.
Thanks to the partnership between the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, Elder Automotive, and each of the local professional franchises, more than 2,000 items have been collected and distributed to local kids in need since 2011, including over 200 new bicycles.
