TAMPA, Fla. – Continuing its long-time partnership, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission and the Suncoast Academy have teamed together to host the sixth-annual Suncoast Sports Festival, January 25-27, at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Fla.
Eight sports will be featured in the 2013 edition of the festival, including girl’s gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, cheerleading, dance, rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts, and basketball. All events will take place at the Florida State Fairgrounds, or one of Tampa Bay’s surrounding community arenas.
Established in 2007, the Suncoast Sports Festival was designed with the desire of promoting competitive athletics by bringing together many of the nation’s best athletes to compete at one location. Through this, however, their goal of fostering an atmosphere for love of competition and sportsmanship through athletic contests was developed.
