VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES The following opportunities are currently available in the Tampa Bay area: 2010 Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships For only the third time in the events history, powerlifters from over 20 different organizations will be competing in a two-day event at Jackson Springs Recreation Center to determine true national champions. The event takes place from January 30-31, 2010. If you are interested in an experience that will literally put you on the front lines, then this event is for you. If you like working with people and volunteering your time for a great cause, then this event is for you. Want to learn all the nuts and bolts that go into a production-then this event is for you. To volunteer please fill out the application below. 2010 Suncoast Sports Festival Come join our nation’s best athletes competing in fourteen exciting sports, at the Suncoast Sports Festival taking place from January 22-24, 2010. Come to the Florida State Fairgrounds for girls and boys AAU and USAG gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, tae kwon do, baton, spirit cheerleading, spirit dance, wrestling, and cross country events. The Ed Radice Sports Complex will host baseball and the University of South Florida is host to synchronized swimming and basketball. Make sure you don’t miss out on one of the most exciting sporting events this January. This thrilling event is for bicycle enthusiast of all kinds. The course is usually less than 5km and is set-up all over the streets of Downtown Tampa. This speed chilling bike race is looking for volunteers who want to help with the event production of the Tampa Twilight Criterium and Festival.
