THE PRO-MOTION SOUTHEAST HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COMBINE



The Tampa Bay Sports Commission is proud to present the Pro-Motion Sports Southeast High School Football Combine on May 23, 2009. This annual event began in 2004 and was developed by County Commissioner Jim Norman with the idea of showcasing local football talent in hopes of increasing college scholarship opportunities. The prospects are evaluated in several physical tests including speed, strength, vertical jump, along with other skill tests. Last year, over 450 football prospects (158 from Hillsborough County) displayed their football skills in an event that attracted 28 college football coaches. Combine videos are also produced and sent upon request to college coaches unable to make it to the combine.
